HUSH do it again!
Our ever busy station adopters, HUSH (Habrough & Ulceby Station Helpers) have been working as hard as ever. They transformed a neglected telephone box on Platform 2 at Habrough station into a colourful, pollinator-friendly planter. Volunteers cleaned, painted and decorated the box, then built planters using donated and reused materials, keeping costs low. The project has improved the passenger environment, introduced seasonal colour and biodiversity, and created a welcoming station focal point. The project demonstrates how creative and sustainable improvements can deliver lasting environmental, passenger and community benefits.
