Barton Cleethorpes Community Rail Partnership would like to introduce (from left to right) Lyndsey, Simon and Jack! Three of our newest volunteers who have adopted Goxill Railway Station. Welcome!
The Barton Cleethorpes Community Rail Partnership is working with station adopters to brighten up the line. They are providing new sturdy planters, made from recycled plastic with large water reservoirs, to ensure a consistent and appropriate level of water and less water wastage. The planters are easily filled at accessible watering points on the edges, making them much easier to maintain. EMR are working with us too and have provided funding for the colourful planting which we are purchasing locally from Gooseman's Growers in Barrow.
On Saturday 23 March the Easter Bunny was on board the 09:54 train from Barton and the 10:50 from Cleethorpes. Delighted children and adults received easter eggs, chocolates and rail safety resources.
